Coordinator Dr. Ramiz Alakbarov held a productive meeting about the provision of humanitarian aid in Ethiopia.
They discussed the steps taken by the Government of Ethiopia and humanitarian partners to collectively reform the provision of humanitarian assistance.
After the meeting, they greed that the full and immediate resumption of food aid remains a priority for the most vulnerable groups across the country. They stressed that as humanitarian assistance is a lifeline to affected communities, they cannot afford to wait.
They also agreed that humanitarian partners should continue to provide other lifesaving activities, including nutritional supplements, school feeding programs, water and agricultural support services.
