Deputy Director General of Refugees and Returnees Service – RRS, Biruhtesfa Mulugeta hosted a Norwegian delegation led by Vibeke Jørgensen, Head of Voluntary Return at the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration.
During the meeting, Biruhtesfa briefed the delegation on the achievements and challenges of a return and reintegration initiative implemented by RRS in collaboration with local and international partners.
The two sides also discussed broader regional migration trends and the importance of establishing a multi-purpose migrant return assistance center.
The Norwegian delegation commended RRS for its efforts in promoting safe and orderly reintegration and expressed interest in supporting similar initiatives.
