The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Mr. Filippo Grandi has arrived in Ethiopia.
Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, the High Commissioner was welcomed by Refugees and Returnees Service – RRS Deputy Director General Yaekob Yalla, along with officials from UNHCR Ethiopia and other UN agencies in Addis.
On the occasion, Yakob expressed appreciation for the High Commissioner’s continued commitment and steadfast support to Ethiopia’s refugee response.
The High Commissioner’s visit underscores his deep dedication to the protection and well-being of displaced populations – both in East Africa and around the globe.
