RRS Director General Teyiba Hassen, together with her team, hosted WFP Regional Director Laurent Bukera today at her Office.
The two sides discussed food distribution to refugees in Ethiopia, where RRS senior officials briefed WFP of the Ethiopian government’s effective handling of the transition of food distribution to partners.
Teyiba and her team emphasized the need for WFP to reconsider its policy as it impacts the livelihoods of refugees.
Both entities also agreed on the importance of advocacy for fund-raising to promote humanitarian-development approach.
