RRS convened a donor group meeting with international partners for discussion on the current refugee situation in Ethiopia.
RRS briefed the team on the Makatet Roadmap, progress on the Ethiopian Government’s 2023 pledges and prevailing challenges, along with proposed strategic actions.
Participants engaged in constructive dialogue on expanding resource mobilization and exploring innovative approaches to strengthen support for the refugee operation.
The discussion also focused on improving coordination, diversifying funding sources and better aligning donor contributions with national and global priorities.
RRS expressed gratitude for the international community’s continued technical and financial support, emphasizing the need for sustained and enhanced cooperation to meet growing humanitarian and development needs and promote long-term solutions for refugees and host communities.
