Refugees and Returnees Service (RRS), Deputy Director General, Biruhtesfa Mulugeta hosted a delegation from the International Institute of Humanitarian Law (IIHL) at his office at his office on 7 Dec. 2023.
Conversing on the possible areas of cooperation, Mr. Bruhtesfa briefed the delegation about the RRS and its human resources. Claudio Delfabro, Director of the Department of International Refugee Law and Migration Law and lead of the delegation, on his part, shared valuable insights about the work of IIHL and expressed their willingness to offer capacity-building training to the RRS staff, specifically in the field of refugee protection.
IIHL, an independent non-profit humanitarian institution located in Italy, is renowned for its expertise in providing both online and face-to-face capacity-building trainings focusing on equipping professionals with the necessary skills to effectively safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees, internally displaced persons (IDPs), stateless individuals, and migrants.
