Refugees and Returnees Service (RRS) conducted an advanced training in Bishoftu town from 16-20 February 2026, which focused on Project Management, and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) to enhance operational efficiency.
The intensive training brought together key staff from the Head Office and Branch Offices, aiming to strengthen technical capacity in planning, tracking and evaluating humanitarian and development projects.
The capacity building initiative was facilitated by volunteer experts from Addis Economic Research (AER) and the World Food Programme (WFP).
The sessions focused on results-based project management, modern data collection and analysis using tools such as SurveyCTO and Stata, and rigorous impact evaluation methodologies to assess long-term outcomes of RRS interventions.
The training was made possible through the financial support of Hilton Foundation, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening institutions serving refugees in Ethiopia.
