With support from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, Refugees and Returnees Service (RRS) continues to roll out a series of Community Dialogue sessions across selected operational areas.
The latest session took place in Kebribeyah town in the Somali Regional State, where it convened refugees and host community members.
The dialogue focused on deepening social cohesion, nurturing peaceful co-existence and advancing socio-economic inclusion.
Participants engaged in a constructive dialogue, sharing perspectives and committing to jointly tackle common challenges, particularly in resource management and livelihood opportunities.
Voices from both communities highlighted the value of such engagements in sustaining and strengthening their long-standing, mutually supportive relationship.
In another development, @RRSEthiopia team met with representatives of Kebribeyah Town Administration to explore areas of mutual collaboration.
The discussion focused on jointly organizing upcoming HF project activities, including business exhibitions and open dialogue platforms designed to foster engagement between government officials, refugees, host communities and the local private sector.
Attendees included representatives from Mayor’s Office, Trade and Transport, Job Creation and Security Offices.
