This afternoon, @RRSEthiopia Director General @TeybaHassen met with U.S Ambassador to Ethiopia @ErvinMassinga, where they engaged in a productive dialog regarding ongoing partnership.
The focus of their meeting was the exploration of new and existing opportunities for continued collaboration on Ethiopia’s refugee response.
The DG said: “Our conversation centered on a comprehensive exchange of views, touching upon various areas of mutual interest that define our relationship. It was a valuable opportunity to align our perspectives and ensure that our strategic priorities remain synchronized as we navigate a complex global landscape.”
Ethiopia remains one of the largest refugee-hosting nations in the region and the scale of this responsibility requires a multi-faceted approach.
The discussion was tailored on how to integrate scarce resources to provide not only humanitarian aid but also long-term, sustainable solutions for those displaced by conflict and environmental challenges.
During the discussion, the two sides underscored the vitality of collaboration to transforming policy commitments into tangible improvements in the daily lives of thousands of individuals seeking safety within Ethiopia’s borders.
